Steps in Installing and Assembling your Digital Satellite Tv
You Start Installing your Dstv, Hitv, Multitv, Infinitytv and mytv by yourself. You might not need any installer to instal for you again. We are going to be using strong dish and decoder as an example. What you need to do is to follow the steps below:
1. Go to the nearest dealer around you to purchase you complete strong satellite cables.
2. Remove the accessories of your dishes and fit them together following the steps in the manure giving using spanner 10 and 14.
3. Nail your base to a firm object preferably facial board, erected pole or the wall.
4. Put your assembled dish on the base.
5. Most of the satellite we view in Nigeria is located in the east. So make sure your dish is facing the east ( where the sun is rising in the morning)
6. Connect your cable which is normally coaxial cable from your LNB on your dish outside to your decoder inside with help of RF connector
6. Before you start tracking outside, you need to program your strong decoder depending on the service provider you want to view. Dstv multichoice is broadcasting to Eutesat W4 with frequency 12245 and symbol rate 27500. programming of your decoder will be explained in detail in the next post.
7. On your decoder, press menu, ok installation enter pin which is normally 0000 for strong decorder. Go to manual scan, enter your frequency and symbol rate.
8. You can now start Tracking. Tracking is searching for signal by moving your dish up and down until the dish is facing the desired satellite in the space. This is known when the red colour on your decoder changes to green. Green color on your decoder shows that your signal has been detected by your decoder through the dish from your desired satellite.

Dstv Promo Has Ended,Price Only Increased with little Amount
Dstv Promo has ended. The Complete system used to be N9,000:00. The price has however increased to N15,000:00. This is without subscription. Subscription price of Multi choice Dstv has also increased. It is only the N1,500:00 Subscription that remained unchanged. We however advice people using Dstv for the first time to start with N2,800:00(no longer N2,500:00) subscription

Free Channels, No Subscription per month in Africa
Multitv based in Ghana are broadcasting free. Infinitytv based in Nigeria is still broadcasting free. Both Multitv and infinitytv are broadcasting free and they are on thesame satellite in the space. This means if you can view multitv provided the signal is high enough, you will automatically view infinitytv.
The 27 channels on this multitv including infinity is believed to be equivalent to the over 100 channels in dstv you will have to be subscribing N9,500.00 per month, 31 channels in hitv you will subscribe N3,500.00 per month and 20 channels on mytv you will be subscribing N1,900.00 per month. Multitv has like 13 channels while infinitytv has the remaining. This are the channels:
1. English home movies: 1 on multitv and 1 on infinitytv. Total=2
2. Local movies: 1 Hausa, 1 Yoruba and 1 Igbo on infinity, 1 Ghana on multitv. Total=4
3. Foreign movies: 1 story line and 1 war film on multitv. Total=2
4. International news: Joy news, CNN, BCC Aljacera int. all on multitv. Total=3
5. Music: 2 on multitv, 1 on infinitytv. Total=3
6. Cartoon: 1 on multitv and 2 on infinitytv. Totai=3
7. Local Channels: 2 on miltitv, 3 on infinity (galaxy, superscreen and 9ja)total=5
8. Christian TBN on multitv and loveworld+ on infinity

Hitv Promo has ended.
Hitv which is popularly known for sport and Yoruba movies has finally concluded their promo.They use to sell complete system for N9,000. 00. Their present price for a complete system with a month subscription of N 3,500.00. This price has now finally changed to N15, 000.00.
